Originally built in 1933 as an auto court, Piety Hill Cottages is one of the areas oldest, continuously operating hostelries. Piety Hill Cottages offers its guests both warm hospitality and quite seclusion in a relaxed setting.
Bedrooms
Each of the one, two, or three room cottages has its own kitchenette and private bath with showers. Featuring 3 Queen cottages and 6 Kings we can accommodate 1-6 people. Each is decorated in either: Early American, French, English, Maine, or Farm House style. One has a claw-foot tub/shower, and one includes a wood-burning stove. Our two studio queens are a duplex with an adjoining door that can be used together or separately. Our largest cottage (750 sq. ft.) has a full kitchen and family room with a complete entertainment center for family get-togethers or extended stays.
 Breakfast
Our delicious breakfast is delivered to each cottage or outdoors in the garden at a time the guests requests between 8-10am. Hot breakfast includes one of our infamous main entrees: Mediterranean Soufflé, Quiche De Jour, Strata, Orange Sourdough or Peach French Toast, Banana or Dutch Baby Pancakes topped with fresh fruit, or sweet and savory Crepes. Add a breakfast meat, generous fruit plate, juice, and bread de jour and we guarantee you won't go away hungry. (Continental breakfast also available)
Common Areas
Over one acre of garden laden grounds, outdoor spa gazebo, barbeques and pick-nic areas.
Other Amenities
Air conditioning, televisions (some with VCR or CD players), free local phone, small refrigerators, microwaves, dishes, coffee, tea, and cocoa for at will access. Most have open-faced garages for private parking. Dinner and event reservations made upon request.
Location
Located in the heart of Nevada City, we are a 7-10 minute walk to the city's historic downtown district, hosting multitudes of annual events including the annual film festival, Mardi Gras celebration, multiple parades, as well as several wine tasting events to name just a few. Downtown Nevada City offers a full range of activities including unique gift shopping, fine restaurants, and theatrical entertainment.

Ranging from $95-$185 for two people depending on the size, amenities and location of the cottage.
