Bedrooms
Six unique guest rooms, each with a private bath. King, queen and full size beds are available, some with private balconies and some with private entrances overlooking year round Deer Creek. Amenities include television with basic cable hook-ups in every room, wireless internet, a cell phone antenna booster, bathrobes and toiletries.
Breakfast
We serve a three-course gourmet breakfast each morning at 9:00 am in the dining room or outside patio overlooking Deer Creek. Our goal is to offer unique entrees not found in a typical restaurant setting. Our first course is a seasonal fruit dish either fresh or baked. Our second course is an egg entrée (such as Hash Brown Quiche, Artichoke Oven Omelet or Spinach and Mushroom Strata) served with our specialty side dishes. Our final course might be Lemon French Toast, Pumpkin Pancakes, or Apricot Shortbread, all fresh and homemade. Bottled water, various fruit juices and assorted sodas, coffee (both regular and decaf), hot water for various teas and hot chocolate are available throughout the day. In addition we offer homemade cookies and brownies, as well as fresh fruit and popcorn for those late night munchies.
Common Areas
The full second floor is available to all our guests. It includes the parlor (for watching television or movies), the sitting room(for reading or playing games), the dining room (for meetings and puzzles), the kitchen and sunroom (where our guests enjoy a variety of treats and refreshments). The secluded half-acre of grounds along Deer Creek offer numerous sitting and relaxing hide-a-ways.
 Building and Grounds
Deer Creek Inn is an historical 1860 Queen Anne Victorian with a comfortable year-round creek side setting just footsteps from downtown Nevada City. Flourishing gardens attract visitors for all seasons.
Other Amenities
We offer several romantic packages and a “Taste of Nevada County” wines starting at 5:00 pm each afternoon. We have Wireless Internet, a cell phone antenna booster and a small gift shop. We welcome small retreats and conferences and offer a full concierge service.
